How do I sign in?
Use the same email you signed up with on the sign-in page. We send a one-click magic link — no password to remember. If you enrolled 2FA in Settings → Security, we'll prompt you for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app right after the magic link.I didn't receive my magic-link email.
Check spam first — the sender isnoreply@ledgentry.com. If still missing after 2 minutes, request a new one from the sign-in page (the old link expires in 1 hour anyway). Some corporate inboxes block magic links — try a Gmail/Outlook personal address or use the “Continue with Google” button instead.How do tax estimates work? Are they real numbers?
Real arithmetic, not advice. We compute YTD net income from your paid invoices minus deductible expenses, then apply: federal income tax (22% marginal with the ½-SE-tax adjustment), self-employment tax (15.3% on 92.35% of net), and a 5% blended state tax. Your results will differ if you have a non-standard deduction, multiple income sources, or live in a no-income-tax state. Confirm with a CPA before filing.How do I get paid through Ledgentry invoices?
Connect your Stripe account inSettings → Payments(one-click via Stripe Connect). Once connected, every invoice you send gets a “Pay now” button that takes the client straight to Stripe Checkout. Money lands in your bank account on Stripe's normal payout schedule (2 business days for US accounts).How do I cancel my subscription?
Go toSettings → Billingand click “Manage subscription” — that opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can pause, change plan, or cancel. No phone calls, no retention scripts. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.Can I export my data?
Yes — every list page (invoices, expenses, clients) has a CSV export button. The Tax page has a year-end PDF export sized for your accountant. If you want a complete dump for migration to another tool, email support@ledgentry.com and we'll send a JSON archive within 1 business day.How do I delete my account?
Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. We cancel your Stripe sub first, then permanently remove every row keyed to your user (cascade delete via Postgres). It's irreversible — there's no “wait 30 days” window. Export your data first if you want to keep records.Can I install Ledgentry on my phone?
Yes — Ledgentry is a Progressive Web App, so you can install it as a near-native app today (no App Store needed):- iPhone (Safari): tap the Share icon → “Add to Home Screen”. The app launches full-screen with no browser chrome.
- Android (Chrome): tap the three-dot menu → “Install app” (or look for the install banner that pops up automatically).
